About Out of the blue

Out of the Blue (OOTB) has been making a-cappella popular in England for 7 years now... It all started with a certain Mr Derek Smith.
Joining Oxford University in 2000, his decision to conjure up an all-male acappella group from mostly thin air (with a few wannabe pop stars...) has proved to be a turning point in the history of Oxford music...

BIGGEST SHOW OF YEAR: NEW THEATRE

Tickets are now on sale for our end of year show at Oxford's 1800-seater New Theatre on 12th June.
OOTB CROWNED EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS

OOTB have won the European region of the ICCA competition and will compete in the international final in New York on 19th April

US East coast TOUR

In Easter 2007, OOTB toured the East Coast of America, visiting the
likes of Washington DC, Maryland, New York, New Rochelle, New Jersey,
Philadelphia , Yale, Ithaca and Boston and more! Highlights along the
way included a gig in the Empire State Building and singing to a crowd
of 20,000 ice hockey fans in an NHL stadium just outside New York!
The tour was a huge success and we'd like to thank everyone who made
it possible, especially all the families and people who kindly hosted us.
We'll come back soon!
